Vic Elford “My Racing Life with Porsche”
March 4 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Nicknamed “Quick Vic” by his peers, legendary driver Vic Elford is arguably the most versatile all round driver of all time. He raced 5 years for Porsche and his lap records included: Targa Florio, Nurburgring, Daytona, Sebring, and Laguna Seca … and Le Mans – where he was the first driver to lap at over 150mph in the Porsche long-tail 917 in 1970.
This is Vic’s second trip to the Blackhawk Museum, and he will be discussing all things Porsche from his years of extensive racing. The Speaker Series event is free with admission to the Blackhawk Museum. All Speaker Series events are free to Members of the Blackhawk Museum, join today!
