Museum Membership

The Museum has about 1,000 members, many of whom are also members of the Museum's Guild and volunteer regularly as trained gallery hosts, tour docents and library aides. Membership benefits include free admission, Members-only exhibition previews, program fliers and discounts on lectures, programs and Bookstore merchandise.

Listed below are several categories of membership with different benefits. If you are already a member of a car club there is a discounted family membership and if you'd like to receive free admission to other car museums there is a membership for that. The Blackhawk Museum is affiliated with the Smithsonian Institute and has shared many programs and exhibitions with the Institute over the years. A membership with the Blackhawk Museum makes you an affiliate member of the Smithsonian and allows you to receive Smithsonian Magazine and other benefits.
