DAN DAVIS is the publisher/managing editor of Victory Lane–the monthly Vintage and Historic Racing News Magazine that covers racing from such groups as SVRA—Sportscar Vintage Racing Association, HSR—Historic Sportscar Racing, Ltd., VARA—Vintage Auto Racing Association,  and the countless organizations Stateside, in Canada, and in England and Europe that promote safe and responsible racing and touring events.

Victory Lane’s sister publication, Vintage Oval Racing Magazine: Keeping American Track Racing Heritage Alive, covers the ever-growing scene of nearly 300 vintage oval racing events that happen each year. The popularity of restored or preserved/conserved open-wheelers running on the oval tracks has been gaining popularity during the past decade as more and more ‘derelict’ Champ cars are being located, and rejuvenated to their original condition.

Dan is on the Vintage Motorsports Council, a coordinating body for Vintage Motorsports, that provide its members with a framework for the promotion of uniform rules and regulations to enhance the continued growth and health of Vintage Motorsports.
