Sherry Monahan is a passionate speaker who loves to engage audiences with little known truths about daily life in the American West. Her knowledge of food, drinks, people, and places appeals to a variety of events. She’s spoken at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, the Tallman Hotel in Upper Lake, California, Jesse James’ birthplace, Dodge City, Kansas, genealogy societies, historical venues, and more. She’s also appeared in several documentaries on the History Channel, FoxNews, and the American Heroes Channel.

Sherry is a culinary historian who enjoys researching the genealogy of food and spirits. While there’s still plenty to explore about frontier food, she’s expanding her culinary repertoire to include places and foods from all over America and beyond.

After the talk, Sherry will be selling her amazing books in the lobby. Choose from a variety of fascinating titles, including "California Madams", "Mrs. Earp", "Cowboy's Cookbook", and many more. Cash, check, and credit cards will be accepted. Don't miss this chance to meet the author and take home some great reads!

Admission to the museum includes access to the event.
