When you create a Membership  – we retain and process first name, surname, email, country and additional information that you can choose to provide to us such as address, products, etc. When you buy products – We store and process your first name, surname, delivery address, email and mobile number. The purpose is to be able to provide membership events to you, as well as improve member relations and service to you.

When you purchase tickets – We store and process your purchase history in addition to the information you have provided to us when you create a Blackhawk membership account. The purpose is to be able to provide and improve our service to you.

 

How we use your personal data

The personal data we collect will be used to:

  • Create and administrate your Blackhawk Museum Membership.
  • Send important notices to you, such as communications about purchases and changes to our terms and conditions and policies. Send newsletters, offers and other news about benefits and upcoming events. If you do not want to be on our mailing list, you can opt out by simply clicking the unsubscribe link.
  • Help us develop, deliver and improve our services, content and member communications through internal audits, data analysis and research of the personal data and preferences you provided to us in connection with membership, purchases, events or other member programs, if you participate in such events.
  • Fulfill any obligations we have according to law.

Our processing is necessary for the performance of our obligations towards you as a member of the Blackhawk Museum and for you to be able to receive the benefits. In order for members to receive membership benefits, a user must first complete the Membership form and pay applicable due. During registration a user is required to give certain information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact you about the events/products/services on our site in which you have expressed interest. At your option, you may also provide demographic information (such as gender or age) about yourself, but it is not required.

We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you.
