The Blackhawk Museum is open this weekend:
Friday - Open - 10AM to 5PM
Saturday - Open - 10AM to 5PM
Sunday - Open - 10AM to 5PM
*Ticket Sales End at 4:00 pm
The Museum is closed Monday through Thursday.

Blackhawk Museum Programs Department
Tours - TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
The Blackhawk Museum Programs Department schedules School/Youth and Adult/Senior Group tours. These tours provide a unique opportunity for visitors of all ages. The Auto, Spirit of the Old West, Art of Africa, Into China and World of Nature Galleries allow visitors to experience and explore amazing educational, artistic, cultural and historical artifacts in one place. These galleries also support the California State Content Standards for History, Social Science, English/Language Arts and Fine Arts. All tour requests must be made four (4) weeks in advance of the scheduled tour.
Children’s Education & Transportation Fund
All donations to the Children’s Education & Transportation Fund, a non-profit 501 ( c ) 3 organization, have been matched to $25,000 annually by the Patricia R. Behring Foundation. This Foundation provides school groups with funding for transportation & admission costs while visiting the Blackhawk Museum.
Educational programming has been a primary mission of the Blackhawk Museum since opening in 1988. Over 200,000 students have visited the Museum during the last 30 years with tours targeting every age level. We invite all school groups, grades Kindergarten through High School, to experience the Blackhawk Museum.

School & Youth Group Tours - TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
Guided & Self-Guided School/Youth Group Tours are offered by appointment only on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 10:00 AM, 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM. All tours require a 10 student minimum and are one hour in duration. Two tours, per group, per day are available. Adult chaperones are required at a 1:8 ratio. Book a tour by clicking the “Request a School/Youth Tour” button below. The Programs Department will contact the person making the tour request.
Adult & Senior Group Tours - TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE
The Blackhawk Museum offers Guided & Self-Guided Tours for Adults/Seniors by appointment only for groups of 10 or more. Two tours, per group, per day are available. Book a tour by clicking the “Request a Group Tour” button below. Group admission pricing is extended if tickets are paid in advance or with one group ticket purchase at the Reception Desk at the time of the tour. The Programs Department will contact the person making the tour request.
