Spring Speaker Series: John Banovich

Internationally acclaimed wildlife artist and conservationist John Banovich returns to the Blackhawk Museum for our Spring Speaker Series. Many visitors will recognize Banovich from the video currently playing just outside our World of Nature gallery, he played an instrumental role in the creation of the exhibit, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back.

Known for his large-scale, dramatic portrayals of iconic wildlife and his deep commitment to conservation, Banovich has spent decades traveling the globe documenting endangered species and the wild places they call home. He is also the founder of the Banovich Wildscapes Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to habitat protection and wildlife conservation worldwide.

Join us for an inspiring morning as Banovich shares stories from his recent adventures around the world, offers a behind-the-scenes look at his artistic process, and explores what drives his lifelong dedication to the natural world.

This is a rare opportunity to hear firsthand from one of the leading voices in wildlife art and conservation. Don’t miss it.
