The Future of Automotive Design with Raffi Minasian

Join us on Saturday, November 14, when automobile designer, professor of Industrial Design, and automotive journalist Raffi Minasian presents The Future of Automotive Design.
Car design is changing faster than almost anyone can predict, and Raffi takes on the question of where it is all heading and why. Drawing on more than 40 years in the industry, he examines the newer designs arriving on roads today and the forces driving them, from shifting aesthetics to the technologies reshaping how vehicles are built and used. He will also look back at older cars from a general design perspective, tracing the throughline between what came before and what is emerging now.
As Raffi puts it, there is a lot going on in the world of car design right now, and much of it is changing so quickly that the future of it is getting harder to predict.
The presentation covers the evolving relationship between aesthetics and functionality in modern vehicle design, and the emerging technologies set to shape transportation in the years ahead. It is built for car enthusiasts, designers, students, and anyone curious about where transportation goes next.
